Scope: Design & Install Post-Tensioning

Designed by Nicholas Hare Architects the new school is one of five schools in the 1st wave of the Greenwich BSF programme. Designed as three 'schools with in a school' with each school catering for 450 pupils. In addition, the six form college is also capable of catering for up to 450 pupils.

London based structural engineers BDP worked closely with Structural Systems to fine tune the initial design to produce a flat slab post tensioned scheme. All slab depths where 250mm thick based on The building has three levels totalling just under 8,000m2,

The main contractor was Balfour Beatty Construction Ltd and the frame was erected by A J Morrisroe. Structural Systems are also working on Thomas Tallis School which is part of the same programme.
